Hannah Yadi

Research and Events Assistant

Hannah Yadi joined ResPublica in January 2015 as Research and Events Assistant. She graduated with a First in History from the University of Durham, and was presented with an undergraduate dissertation prize for her work on ‘the Harkis’ and their place in the Algerian Revolution by The Society for French History. During her time at Durham, she was a member of the comedy group The Durham Revue and contributed cartoons and articles to the student satirical newspaper ‘Mostly Harmless’. Her interests lie in the question of national identity, the arts and education. She moonlights as a singer songwriter, recently playing the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games as well as Lake of Stars festival in Malawi, where she is also an ambassador for the sustainable fashion brand ‘Mayamiko’.
