In light of the recent regulation and reform from the Financial Conduct Authority on short-term credit supply, ResPublica is launching its latest report: Climbing the Credit Ladder: Short-term loans as a path to long-term credit. The report will explore the current state of a market that has undergone dramatic change within the last year, and will chart a new way forward for policy-makers and the sector itself.
It will examine ways in which the short-term finance sector can become a source of social good, helping consumers ‘climb the credit ladder’ through integration of the sector with the consumer credit market more widely, and show how these firms can also be part of effectively supporting those who fall into unsustainable debt.
The launch event will feature a panel address, discussion and Q&A session.
Spaces will be strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please register for your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Please arrive promptly for a 2pm start. We look forward to seeing you there.
