The Benefits of EU Collaboration for Higher Education and Research

9th June 2016
  • ResPublica

Universities UK and ResPublica invite you to a unique EU referendum event on Thursday 9 June at Woburn House in Central London.

With all eyes on the impending referendum on 23 June, one of the sectors that will be most impacted by the outcome of this decision is Higher Education, and the life-changing research conducted within our world-leading universities.

Academics, industry experts and policymakers will come together for this high profile exhibition of research projects made possible through the EU. Spanning from smart cities to research on the genetics of disease, a wide spectrum of projects are carried out; all enabled by EU collaboration and funding, and with universities in the UK leading the way.

This event will include a complementary drinks reception, with an address by our special guest Jo Johnson MP, Minister of State for Universities and Science.
