Introducing ResPublica’s 2014 Party Conference Fringe Programme

8th November 2013

ResPublica's Fringe Programme for the 2014 Party Conference Season is now open

In the run up to the 2015 General Election, ResPublica will be developing its own ‘Manifesto’, which will set out a series of powerful policy innovations necessary to create the Britain we all need. Our party conference programme will provide a platform for this thought leadership, and will feed directly into the development of ResPublica’s ongoing strategy.

We will be inviting politicians, thought leaders and commentators to join us throughout our panel sessions to explore and discuss a wide range of topical policy areas, and to generate the innovative and radical thinking needed to transform the present policy landscape.

ResPublica has developed a well-deserved reputation for delivering one of the most exciting and innovative fringe programmes at the party conferences. We invite you to join us in creating the ideas and shaping the proposals that will form the policies of the future. Next year, ResPublica will have a significant presence at all three party conferences:

Labour:

Sunday 21st – Wednesday 24th September 2014
Manchester Central and Midland Hotel

Conservative:

Sunday 28th September – Thursday 2nd October 2014
Birmingham ICC and Hyatt Hotel

Liberal Democrat:

Saturday 4th – Wednesday 8th October 2014
Glasgow SECC

For more information or to discuss partnership opportunities, please contact Elliott Mears, Events and Communications Assistant, elliott.mears@respublica.org.uk or 020 7222 6552.

Our 2013 Fringe Programme

ResPublica had a strong presence at all three party conferences this autumn. Our 2013 fringe programme created a platform for thought leadership on a vast array of policy areas and topical issues including payday loans, the energy market, Scottish independence, the EU, public service reform and financial regulation.

ResPublica’s fringe programme was covered extensively both online via Twitter and in the national press. Coverage of our events in the media included articles covering speeches by Rt Hon Ken Clarke, Minister without Portfolio, Jo Swinson MP, Minister for Employment Relations and Consumer Affairs and Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Member for North East Somerset.
