What's Left Now?

ResPublica director Phillip Blond speaking at HowTheLightGetsIn festival

HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, is held 31st May - 10th June in Hay-on-Wye.

On 4th June ResPublica director Phillip Blond will take part in a panel discussion entitled 'What's Left Now?', addressing what is left today:

The left has always seen itself as progressive. What does this mean in a world where our notions of progress are themselves changing? With full bloodied socialism largely off the agenda is being left wing reduced to a moral crusade, or can a new radicalism be forged?

Other panelists include Shadow Health Minister Diane Abbott, activist Peter Tatchell, philosopher and former Times columnist Jamie Whyte.
