ResPublica releases further details for the Party Conferences Fringe Programme 2012
Building on successful programmes in 2010 and 2011, ResPublica is looking forward to a strong presence at all three conferences this year once again. We are pleased to announce our confirmed venues and we look forward to presenting a wide range of interesting and topical debates.
Liberal Democrat Party conference (22nd - 26th September): ResPublica will be hosting our fringe events at the Holiday Inn Brighton, a seafront fringe hotel just outside the secure zone.
Labour Party conference (30th September - 4th October): Our events will be hosted at Manchester Town Hall, within a few minutes walking distance from the secure zone.
Conservative Party conference (7th - 10th October): ResPublica will have an exclusive space for the whole duration of the Birmingham conference; the ResPublica Marquee will be within the secure zone, directly outside the ICC main entrance.
Discussion topics are provisional and currently open to partnership opportunities. All our fringe events are based on the policy frameworks underpinned by ResPublica's three core workstreams. Discussion topics from our
Models and Partnerships for Social Prosperity workstream will include new approaches to public service delivery based on innovation and social value;
New Economies, Innovative Markets will explore infrastructure investment, social finance, ethical market capitalism, and diversified competition and ownership models, whilst
British Civic Life encompasses heritage and culture, philanthropy, civic leadership and faith.
For further information and a detailed list of provisional discussion topics, please see our prospective programme
here.
