As part of our continued expansion, ResPublica is seeking to recruit a pool of talented research associates to collaborate on a freelance/contract basis on projects during 2012.
We would therefore welcome expressions of interest from public policy professionals, social policy researchers and academics with experience in the following main areas:
- Mutualism and community ownership
- New civic-based financial models
- Economics (in particular complexity-based approaches)
- Housing and regeneration
- Urbanism, planning and design
- Health and social care
- Environment, energy and waste
- Public service reform
- Children and young people
- Behaviour and cognition
- Constitutional reform
- Criminal justice
- Security
- Political history and philosophy

We are looking for:
- Proven track record in research and/or policy development across their relevant discipline;
- Strong academic credentials, preferably with relevant post-graduate degree;
- Ability to innovative and think creatively about new policy solutions
- Deep knowledge of/interest in contemporary UK and international politics;
- Understanding of and support for civil society-based and localist solutions to public policy questions;
- Excellent communication and exceptional drafting skills;
- Proven record and ability to design and deliver projects to time and budget
