Date: Tuesday 4th October 2011
Time: 6.30pm
Co-hosted with Stonham Services (corresponding events at Liberal Democrat and Labour conference)
The discussion will
explore new models for care and support services for the most vulnerable in
society. Panellists are asked to consider the personalization of
residential services: how they can be responsive to the needs of local
communities? How can new partnership models enable tenant empowerment and
community development from the bottom up?
How can organisations bring systemic changes for client involvement to be
embedded within? How can government facilitate this agenda? And what are the
benefits for communities?
Speakers:
- Daniel
Poulter MP, Member of the Health Select Committee
- Rachael Byrne, Executive Director, Stonham Services
- Jenny Edwards, Chief Executive, Homeless Link
- John Liddle, Client, Stonham Services

Refreshments will be served.
