Phillip Blond at Big Society symposium in Toronto

ResPublica's Director, together with All Souls College Oxford's Professor of Government, Christopher Hood, and University of Toronto Political Science Professor Clifford Orwin, will consider 'The Big Society, Public Service and Liberal Democracy'. This panel session forms part of an events that will also consider 'The Big Society as a Set of Ideas and a Political Agenda', 'The Big Society, Localism and Social Enterprise' and 'The Big Society and the Role of Government - a Canadian Perspective'.

Blond's Toronto presentation was outstanding...easily the best and most visionary -- and practical-- of the day. Lots of academic credibility too! For those of us who could not write fast enuf, slides -- or script [doubt there was one as he spoke 30 min from no notes!]would be a help...
