This is an unmissable opportunity to play a pivotal role in the rapid expansion of a high-profile multi-disciplinary, non-party political research organisation. ResPublica was founded by Phillip Blond in 2009, since which time its ground breaking approaches to mitigating enduring economic and social problems have gained significant traction in Westminster and beyond. As part of our continued expansion, we seek to recruit a high calibre, self-starter sector specialists who can add value to our mission to join the dots between the articulation of a radical, progressive policy platform, and real world impacts.
The Head of the Security and Civic Cohesion Unit will be an expert on community cohesion, civil society, energy supply, local culture and food security, plus knowledge of procurement, strategy and diplomacy.
Core competencies and skills required:
•Proven track record in relevant policy area, backed by strong academic credentials, preferably with relevant post-graduate degree;
•Deep knowledge of / interest in contemporary UK and international politics and broadly supportive of civil society-based and localist solutions to public policy questions;
•Excellent contacts across academia, government and business;
•Outstanding verbal and written communicator, with project / staff management expertise.
Salary: Competitive bonus
This position is based in Westminster.
