David Cameron signalled his backing yesterday for a network of schools run by the military to stop feral youngsters turning into a new generation of rioters.
The Prime Minister said he would consider proposals for academies to be set up in sink areas to instil discipline and a firm moral code in pupils.
And he championed the expansion of cadet forces into schools.
His comments come after the ResPublica think-tank urged the Government to back a pilot scheme that will see 10 schools set up in “Neet blackspots” – where a large proportion of youngsters are not in education, employment or training.
