ResPublica is currently recruiting for a
well organised and enthusiastic Business Development and Events intern. Applicants
should have outstanding communication and research skills, and a good
understanding of current affairs and UK policy, as well as knowledge of the
corporate sector and business development priorities.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in

Responsibilities will include:
- Fundraising research and outward-facing
activity with donors and stakeholders
- Drafting application letters
- Co-ordinating and administrating contact
databases
- Establishing contact with external
organisations, verbally and in writing
- Assisting with the operations and logistics
of public and private events
- Financial planning and budgeting
- Post-event activities such as following up
with attendees and media management for marketing purposes (basic photo and
video editing)
Successful candidates will need to be
independent self-starters with the motivation to take responsibility for their
own projects whilst supporting the work of a close team. Excellent written and
oral communication skills and a confident telephone manner are essential to
this role.
The internship is a voluntary placement for
a period of three months with the potential for an extension after this period.
Lunch and travel expenses will be covered up to £75 per week. The placement
could be part-time or full-time. Please state your availability in your
