This event, one of the first on education following the Election, offers you the opportunity to hear from leading commentators and debate the priorities for the teaching profession under the new Government.

Phillip Blond speaks at Salisbury International Arts Festival

ResPublica Director Phillip Blond will be speaking about his new book "Red Tory" at the Salisbury Festival.

In Red Tory, Blond argues that only a radical new political settlement can tackle the problems we face. It offers a different vision for our future and overturns our long-held political assumptions. Challenging, exhilarating and transformative, it is the book for our times.

Phillip Blond is a political thinker, theologian and philosopher, and director of the think tank ResPublica. The New Statesman has called his thinking 'the only genuinely innovative political idea of the past few years.' He writes frequently for the mainstream press on economics, politics and social policy. The Times have called Red Tory one of the highlights of the year to come.

This is sure to be a scintillating and lively event with an impassioned speaker.
